Bybit Fees, Affiliate Codes, and Cashback Claims: What to Verify in 2026

Last reviewed: August 14, 2026. Bybit fees and promotion terms can change by product, VIP tier, account, and region. This guide separates information shown by Bybit from claims made by affiliates or third-party cashback services.

Affiliate disclosure: ByDITT is an independent educational site and is not Bybit. The BYBITDC link is an affiliate link, so ByDITT may receive compensation if an eligible user registers or trades through it. This does not increase your rights or guarantee a fee discount, reward, cashback payment, or account approval. Confirm the terms shown inside your own Bybit account before depositing or trading.

The short answer

  • BYBITDC may associate an eligible account with an affiliate. It does not, by itself, prove a permanent or fixed percentage discount.
  • Your account is the source of truth. Check Bybit’s “My Fee Rate” or the order confirmation screen for the rate that actually applies.
  • Referral rewards, trading-fee discounts, and third-party cashback are different. A commission paid to a referrer is not automatically a rebate paid to the trader.
  • ByDITT does not promise a separate cashback settlement in this guide. Do not send a UID, password, API key, wallet seed phrase, or withdrawal code to anyone claiming that it is required to release a rebate.

What Bybit’s published fee schedule says

Bybit’s official Trading Fee Structure, updated July 23, 2026, lists the following base VIP 0 rates for the products below. The same page warns that actual rates may vary by region and that users should check their personal fee page after identity verification.

ProductVIP 0 makerVIP 0 takerWhat to verify
Spot0.1000%0.1000%Pair, VIP tier, region, and any active campaign
Perpetual & futures0.0200%0.0550%Contract, VIP tier, region, and order type
Published base rates are a reference, not a personalized quote. Check the fee displayed in your account.

A maker order adds liquidity to the order book; a taker order removes it. Whether an order is charged as maker or taker depends on how it executes, not only on the order label you selected. Funding payments, borrowing interest, conversion spread, withdrawal fees, and TradFi commissions or swaps are separate costs and should not be presented as part of a single “discount rate.”

What an affiliate code can and cannot prove

Bybit provides an official process for checking or adding an affiliate code. Its affiliate-code help page, updated June 5, 2026, says that an eligible main account without an existing code may be able to add one within 14 days of registration. It also says a code cannot be switched after it has been added, and regulatory restrictions can apply.

Step-by-step registration guide using the BYBITDC discount code

Those rules do not establish a universal discount amount. Before continuing, capture the code and any benefit displayed on the Bybit registration screen. After registration, verify the affiliate-code status and your actual trading-fee page. If the benefit is not displayed there, do not assume an article headline overrides the account record.

Fee discount, referral reward, and cashback are not the same

TermWho provides itHow to verify it
Trading-fee discountBybit under account or campaign rulesMy Fee Rate and the fee shown before/after execution
Referral rewardBybit under a specific referral campaignReferral Center, task window, eligibility rules, and reward history
Affiliate commissionBybit to the referrerIt is not automatically visible or payable to the referred trader
Third-party cashbackAn outside service under its own contractNamed payer, written formula, settlement date, exclusions, dispute process, and payment evidence

Bybit’s Referral Program FAQ describes campaign tasks and rewards that can vary by period and eligibility. It should not be used as evidence that every referred user receives the referrer’s commission or an additional cashback payment.

How to test a cashback claim before relying on it

  1. Identify the payer. Is the payment promised by Bybit, by ByDITT, or by another company? If the payer is not named, the claim is incomplete.
  2. Ask for the written formula. A percentage without a base is meaningless. Determine whether it applies to gross trading fees, net fees after discounts, selected products, or something else.
  3. Check timing and exclusions. Look for minimum amounts, settlement cycles, excluded regions, account types, subaccounts, VIP tiers, and campaign end dates.
  4. Verify on a small, non-leveraged transaction. Compare the order’s actual fee with the published schedule and your fee page. Do not increase trading volume merely to chase a rebate.
  5. Keep records. Save the registration screen, terms, fee history, and any settlement statement. A dashboard estimate is not the same as a paid withdrawal.

Warning signs of an unsafe rebate offer

Visual comparison of safe official partners versus dangerous cashback scam sites
  • A promise of “lifetime,” “guaranteed,” “maximum,” or “officially fixed” savings without account-level evidence.
  • A request for your password, two-factor code, seed phrase, remote-control access, or an API key with withdrawal permission.
  • A requirement to transfer funds to a personal wallet before a rebate can be released.
  • A claim that re-registering, moving KYC, or using another person’s identity will safely bypass an existing referral relationship.
  • A savings example that assumes profitable or excessive trading volume without disclosing liquidation, spread, funding, tax, or opportunity cost.

A transparent way to estimate possible savings

Use your own executed volume and account rate. For a simple estimate:

Estimated fee cost = executed notional × applicable fee rate
Estimated saving = cost at comparison rate − cost at your verified rate

This estimate is not profit. Trading more frequently to earn a reward can increase total fees and risk. For derivatives, add funding payments and liquidation risk. For spot margin or borrowing, add interest. For TradFi, review the product’s commission, spread, and swap schedule separately.

Before you register or deposit

  • Confirm that Bybit is available for your country and account type.
  • Read the registration page and capture the displayed affiliate code and benefit, if any.
  • Complete identity verification only through the official Bybit site or app.
  • Enable a unique password, two-factor authentication, anti-phishing code, and withdrawal-address controls.
  • Check My Fee Rate, deposit networks, minimums, and withdrawal fees before sending assets.
  • Start with a small transfer and avoid leverage until you understand liquidation and funding.

Using BYBITDC

If you choose to use the affiliate link, open it before registration and check what Bybit displays for your account. The code does not replace Bybit’s terms, regional restrictions, KYC review, or personal fee page.

Frequently asked questions

Does BYBITDC guarantee a 20% fee discount?

No fixed percentage should be treated as guaranteed without the benefit appearing in your own Bybit registration flow or fee page. Rates and eligibility can vary by account, product, VIP tier, campaign, and region.

Does a 30% affiliate commission mean I receive 30% cashback?

No. An affiliate commission is compensation paid to a referrer under an affiliate agreement. It is not automatically a payment to the referred trader. Any separate cashback offer needs its own named payer, terms, formula, exclusions, and payment evidence.

Can I add or change a code after registering?

Bybit’s current help page says an eligible main account with no existing affiliate code may be able to add one within 14 days of registration. Once a code is added, it cannot be switched. Check the official help page because regional and account restrictions apply.
