Bybit is running more than one TradFi Perpetual promotion in 2026, but the rewards shown in the affiliate portal are not all user signup bonuses. The TradFi Perpetual Rewards Fest pays approved affiliates for qualified direct referrals and trading activity, while a separate public event offers eligible first-time TradFi Perpetual users a 5 USDT Fee Saver. The current fee promotion is also separate: eligible non-Pre-IPO TradFi Perpetuals have 0% maker fees and an approximately 50% lower standard taker fee until further notice.
Verified on August 27, 2026. The affiliate campaign shown in Bybit’s Affiliate Portal runs from August 25, 2026 through October 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC (November 1 at 08:59 KST). Bybit’s separate public 5 USDT Fee Saver event runs from August 20, 2026 at 10:00 UTC through September 30, 2026 at 10:00 UTC. The fee discount is listed as available until further notice. Eligibility, regional availability, tasks, fee rates, reward inventory and deadlines can change, so the live signup page, Rewards Hub, order screen and official terms control.
The short answer: who receives each Bybit TradFi reward?
| Offer or figure | Who it is for | Main condition | What it actually means |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 USDT Fee Saver | Eligible first-time TradFi Perpetual users | Claim the task, complete Standard Identity Verification and make the first TradFi Perpetual trade within seven days of claiming it | A separate public, limited-inventory event; it is not guaranteed merely by opening an account |
| Up to 100 USDT welcome rewards | Eligible new users shown the offer | Complete the live tasks and satisfy account, region and campaign rules | A conditional portal-displayed welcome offer, not an automatic 100 USDT cash payment |
| Up to 1,000 USDT | Approved direct affiliates | Refer enough qualified first-time TradFi Perpetual traders and pass content/risk review | An affiliate milestone reward, not a signup bonus paid to every referred user |
| Up to 100,000 USDT trading pool | Eligible approved affiliates | Qualify for the provisional leaderboard and campaign pool | An affiliate campaign pool, not a 100,000 USDT pool automatically shared by new traders |
| 1,000 USDT | Qualification threshold | A user’s first TradFi Perpetual trade must reach at least 1,000 USDT in trading volume for affiliate FTT qualification | A trading-volume requirement, not a 1,000 USDT reward |
| 0% maker / about 0.0275% standard taker | Eligible TradFi Perpetual traders | Trade an eligible TradFi Perpetual symbol; Pre-IPO symbols are excluded | A current fee promotion; the actual taker rate varies by VIP level and account |
This distinction matters for both Korean and global readers. A headline such as “1,000 USDT reward” can create the wrong expectation if it omits who receives it. BYDITT therefore separates user-facing offers, affiliate-side rewards and trading-fee discounts throughout this guide.
1. What is the Bybit TradFi Perpetual Rewards Fest?
The TradFi Perpetual Rewards Fest is an affiliate campaign displayed in Bybit’s Affiliate Portal. Its stated period is August 25 through October 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The campaign rewards affiliates who submit qualifying promotion proof, pass review and bring direct referrals who meet the first-time TradFi Perpetual trading requirements.
Affiliate Reward 1: direct-referral milestones
| Qualified first-time traders | Displayed affiliate reward |
|---|---|
| 3 | 30 USDT |
| 8 | 80 USDT |
| 20 | 200 USDT |
| 50 | 500 USDT |
| 80 | 1,000 USDT |
A qualified first-time trader, or FTT, can be a new or existing Bybit user who completes the first TradFi Perpetual trade with at least 1,000 USDT in trading volume. Only direct referrals count toward the affiliate’s score; sub-affiliate referrals do not. The milestone amount belongs to the eligible affiliate, not to the trader who creates the volume.
Affiliate Reward 2: the TradFi Perpetual trading pool
The portal states that each 50 million USDT in aggregate TradFi Perpetual trading volume adds 2,000 USDT to the prize pool, up to 100,000 USDT. The displayed split is 15% for first place, 9% for second, 6% for third, with the remaining 70% divided equally among eligible participants. The leaderboard refreshes hourly and remains provisional until risk review is complete.
Because the pool and rankings change, BYDITT does not publish a live pool balance or any account’s private volume. Affiliate rewards are described as USDT airdrops available to claim through Rewards Hub within 14 days after the campaign ends, subject to review. Self-referrals, duplicate identity-verification submissions, subaccount loops and device or IP patterns associated with farming can lead to disqualification.
Does one blog post satisfy the affiliate proof requirement?
Not by itself, based on the portal rules reviewed for this guide. The portal says qualifying promotional content must meet at least one of these formats: at least three video or audio mentions of TradFi Perpetuals, one complete tutorial or walkthrough video no longer than three minutes, or at least five posts on X or Telegram. Affiliates must submit the promotion links through the Affiliate Portal and pass content review before leaderboard eligibility. This article is an educational landing resource; it should not be represented as automatic proof approval.
2. The separate public 5 USDT first-trade event
Bybit’s public announcement dated August 26, 2026 describes a different event for users who have never traded TradFi Perpetuals. Eligible users must claim the task in Rewards Hub and make their first TradFi Perpetual trade within seven days of claiming it. The stated reward is a 5 USDT Fee Saver, not unrestricted cash.
- Confirm that you have never previously traded a TradFi Perpetual on the relevant Bybit account.
- Complete Standard Identity Verification and confirm that TradFi Perpetuals and Rewards Hub are available to your account and residence.
- Open Rewards Hub and claim the specific task before trading.
- Complete the first TradFi Perpetual trade within seven days of claiming the task and before the event closes.
- Check Rewards Hub after the event. Bybit states that eligible rewards are distributed within three working days after the event ends and must be claimed manually.
The public event is scheduled to end September 30, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, but the 100,000 USDT total inventory is first-come, first-served and the event may finish early. Institutional users and Market Makers are excluded. Bybit also reserves the right to change the terms and disqualify abusive or fraudulent activity.
3. Korean and global eligibility: what to verify before signup
For Korean residents: South Korea was not named in Bybit’s general restricted-jurisdiction list or the separate public 5 USDT event’s excluded-country list when this guide was verified. That is not a guarantee that every Korean account qualifies. Enter your real country of residence, complete the required identity verification, and confirm that TradFi → Futures, the task and its terms are actually visible in your account before depositing or trading.
For global users: Bybit’s general restricted-jurisdiction page includes the United States, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, several Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, Sevastopol, Sudan and Syria, among other restrictions that may apply. The public 5 USDT event has a separate exclusion list that also includes the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the European Economic Area. Product and campaign restrictions are not identical, so check both.
| Check | Why it matters | Where to verify |
|---|---|---|
| True country of residence | Bybit may route you to a regional entity or block unavailable products | Signup screen and official restricted-country page |
| Standard Identity Verification | TradFi Perpetual trading and Rewards Hub claiming require KYC under the current table | Identity Verification status |
| TradFi → Futures visibility | TradFi CFD and TradFi Perpetuals are different products, and availability can differ | Web or app product navigation |
| Rewards Hub task | A public announcement does not prove that the task is still available to your account | Logged-in Rewards Hub before the first trade |
| Referral or affiliate attribution | Bybit says a code cannot be added, changed or removed after account creation | Final signup screen before submitting registration |
| Actual fee tier | The taker rate varies by VIP level, account and symbol | Order confirmation and fee-rate page |
| Campaign deadline and inventory | Limited rewards may end early or terms may change | Live event terms |
Do not use a VPN or false residence information to bypass restrictions. Product access, rewards and account status are controlled by Bybit’s applicable legal entity, terms, KYC and risk checks—not by a referral link or by this article.
4. TradFi Perpetuals are not Bybit CFDs
Bybit TradFi Perpetuals are USDT-denominated and USDT-settled perpetual derivatives that track traditional assets such as stocks, commodities, indices and other supported markets. They use the Unified Trading Account, have no expiry date, and use funding and liquidation mechanisms similar to standard USDT perpetual contracts. They do not give ownership of the underlying stock or commodity, dividends, voting rights or delivery rights.
| Feature | TradFi Perpetual | TradFi CFD |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Unified Trading Account with USDT | Separate MT5 CFD account |
| Pricing costs | Maker/taker trading fees, funding, spread and slippage | Spread, possible commission and overnight swap depending on account/instrument |
| Contract duration | Perpetual, no fixed expiry | CFD terms depend on the instrument and MT5 product |
| Campaign covered here | Yes—TradFi Perpetual Futures | No |
| Underlying ownership | No | No |
If you are comparing spreads, commissions and overnight swap for the separate MT5 product, use the Bybit TradFi CFD fee guide. The present article intentionally does not duplicate that search intent.
5. How much can the 0% maker and taker discount save?
Bybit’s August 11 announcement lists an approximate standard taker rate reduction from 0.0550% to 0.0275% and a maker reduction from approximately 0.0200% to 0%. The promotion covers all TradFi Perpetual Contract symbols except Pre-IPO symbols and is available until further notice. The taker rate varies by VIP level, so the following is a standard-rate illustration—not a guaranteed account quote.
| One taker fill volume | At 0.0550% | At 0.0275% | Illustrative saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 USDT | 0.55 USDT | 0.275 USDT | 0.275 USDT |
| 10,000 USDT | 5.50 USDT | 2.75 USDT | 2.75 USDT |
| 100,000 USDT | 55.00 USDT | 27.50 USDT | 27.50 USDT |
| 1,000,000 USDT | 550.00 USDT | 275.00 USDT | 275.00 USDT |
The formula is filled notional × fee rate. Opening and closing are separate fills: two 100,000 USDT taker fills would be approximately 110 USDT at 0.0550% or 55 USDT at 0.0275%, before any other cost. A limit order qualifies as maker only if it adds liquidity; an immediately marketable limit order can execute as taker.
Trading fees are only one component. TradFi Perpetuals also have bid-ask spread, slippage and funding. Bybit changed the TradFi Perpetual funding interval to every eight hours from August 7, 2026, unless later announced otherwise; extreme market conditions can lead to additional changes. Funding is exchanged between long and short position holders who remain open at the funding timestamp. See the Bybit funding-fee guide for the calculation and timing controls.
6. A practical signup and first-trade checklist
- Decide independently whether the product is appropriate: leveraged derivatives can liquidate the full margin rapidly.
- Open the official signup screen: if you choose to use this campaign route, inspect the final Bybit URL and the referral or affiliate attribution before registration.
- Enter your true residence: do not bypass regional restrictions.
- Read the live benefit display: do not assume that “up to 100 USDT,” a fee discount or any other reward is available until it appears with terms for your account.
- Complete Standard Identity Verification: current Bybit documentation requires it for TradFi Perpetuals and Rewards Hub claiming.
- Confirm your UTA and USDT balance: TradFi Perpetuals use the Unified Trading Account rather than the separate MT5 CFD account. The Bybit UTA guide explains the account structure.
- Accept the required risk disclosures: first-time TradFi access and some metals can require additional agreements.
- Claim any user task before the trade: the public 5 USDT event specifically requires the task to be claimed first.
- Check the symbol and fee preview: Pre-IPO symbols are excluded from the current fee promotion.
- Use conservative size and leverage: review mark price, liquidation price, funding countdown, stop-loss behavior and available margin before confirming.
- Keep records: retain the task-claim time, first-trade time, filled volume, fee record and Rewards Hub result without exposing account credentials.
If you independently decide to create an eligible account, you can open the official Bybit signup page for this TradFi promotion. Before clicking Sign Up Now, confirm the displayed referral or affiliate attribution, the available fee terms, the user tasks and your regional eligibility. The tracking link does not guarantee a reward, a fixed discount, product access or profit.
7. Deposits, review and disqualification rules shown in the portal
The affiliate portal FAQ lists Fiat Deposit, Crypto Deposit, One-Click Buy and Bybit P2P as eligible deposit methods for the affiliate campaign. Deposits funded through bonuses, coupons or transfers from another account are not eligible. These campaign-specific rules do not replace the network, minimum, memo/tag, payment-provider, KYC or regional rules attached to each deposit method.
- Self-referrals can lead to immediate disqualification.
- Duplicate Identity Verification submissions are not eligible.
- Subaccount loops and referrals generated through sub-affiliates do not count as direct referrals.
- Device or IP patterns indicative of farming can be rejected.
- Leaderboard positions are provisional and the final result can change after risk review.
- Campaign rewards and ordinary affiliate commissions may both be available to affiliates, but each remains subject to its own rules.
A legitimate promotion should be explainable without encouraging account farming, fake residence information, borrowed identity documents or wash trading. The cost and liquidation risk of generating volume can exceed a conditional reward.
8. Risks that the fee discount does not remove
- Leverage and liquidation: a small adverse move can consume margin, particularly at high leverage.
- Gap risk: earnings, geopolitical events and macro news can cause large price changes when the underlying traditional venue is closed.
- Liquidity and spread risk: liquidity can fall and spreads can widen outside the underlying market’s regular hours.
- Mark-price risk: liquidation is based on mark-price rules, which can differ from the last traded price and include product-specific constraints.
- Funding risk: funding can be positive or negative and can materially change the cost of holding a position.
- No underlying ownership: a stock-linked perpetual does not provide shares, dividends, voting rights or corporate-action entitlements unless expressly reflected in contract pricing or adjustments.
- Custody and counterparty risk: balances and margin remain exposed to centralized-platform operational, cyber, legal and insolvency risks.
- Regulatory risk: access can change by residence, legal entity and product.
- Campaign risk: tasks, inventory, deadlines and reward decisions can change or be rejected under review.
A 0% maker fee is not a zero-cost or risk-free trade. It does not remove spread, slippage, funding, liquidation, taxes, opportunity cost or loss on the underlying position.
Frequently asked questions
Does the affiliate_id=5528 link guarantee 1,000 USDT?
No. The 1,000 USDT figure in the Rewards Fest is the maximum displayed affiliate milestone after 80 qualified first-time traders. It is not an automatic payment to a user who registers through the link.
Can a Korean user join the Bybit TradFi Perpetual event?
South Korea was not expressly listed among the general restricted jurisdictions or the public 5 USDT event’s excluded regions on the verification date. That does not establish automatic eligibility. Korean residents must verify their real residence, Bybit entity, KYC, TradFi Futures access and the live task in their own account.
Is the Bybit TradFi Perpetual maker fee permanently 0%?
No permanent term is stated. Bybit’s August 11 announcement says the discount is available until further notice. Check the symbol and account fee preview before every material trade.
Is the taker fee exactly 50% lower for every account?
The public promotion compares an approximate standard rate of 0.0550% with approximately 0.0275%. The exact taker rate varies by VIP level, account and applicable terms, so “50% off” should not be treated as a universal fixed quote.
Does 1,000 USDT mean I must deposit 1,000 USDT?
Not necessarily. In the affiliate campaign FAQ, 1,000 USDT refers to minimum first-trade volume for qualified FTT counting. Deposit, margin and trading volume are different concepts. Do not increase leverage or churn volume merely to satisfy a campaign threshold.
Can I receive dividends from a stock TradFi Perpetual?
No. Bybit’s product documentation states that TradFi Perpetuals do not represent ownership of the underlying asset and do not provide shareholder, dividend, voting or physical-delivery rights.
Can a current Bybit user count as a qualified first-time trader?
The affiliate portal FAQ says a qualified FTT can be a new or existing user if the user completes the first TradFi Perpetual trade with at least 1,000 USDT in volume and satisfies the other campaign rules. That does not mean every current user qualifies for the separate public 5 USDT event; its own terms and task visibility control.
